METApolis Photo exhibition

The METApolis photographic team is back with the exhibition #13 m.e.t.a.p.o.l.i.sa study by the (129) members of the group on photography aesthetics.

METApolis is the place where contemporary photography continued, in the years of covid-19, to meet aesthetics and technique. It is where restless and daring creators found the expressive means to create, a place where discussions about the art of photography are always "ignited".

So that night, Tuesday, March 10, 2020, when we all had to "stay at home" in the METApolis family, we managed to find new ways to communicate. So two long hard years have passed. We spent many evenings sharing our love of photography online, "not in person", with presentations about the great photographers by the teachers, contemplating the concepts of confinement and how photography has been recording for almost the last 200 yearsNicéphore Niépce, 1826) the critical moments of humanity.

But the time has come for the members of the METAPolis photographic team to share these two creative years with the public, their concept of photography aesthetics through thirteen photographic sections (#13) curated by the teachers Yannis Giannakopoulos, Konstantinos Kourtidis & Thodoris Veronikis.
