Born in Turin and raised in a family that loved jazz music, Roberta Gambarini started her studies early by learning the clarinet, and from the age of 17 she played and sang in various clubs in Northern Italy. In 1998 he found himself on a scholarship in Boston, while he soon took third place in the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Vocal Competition. Her stay in America helped highlight her talent and in 2005 she made her presence felt on the international scene. The following year she recorded the famous album "Easy to Love" with which she established herself as a great jazz performer. The dynamic performer with the excellent tone in her voice, the incredible timing, but also the awesome scatting technique, stands out in a very difficult market from the first moment. The following year the record was nominated for a Grammy for best vocal jazz album of the year, with Karryn Allison, Diana Krall, Nancy Wilson and Nancy King also nominated.
