Blending the cosmic energy of Nu-jazz with modern rock and electronic sensibilities, Wrong Object's music is influenced by many artists including Soft Machine and Gong, Squarepusher, Bela Bartok, Amon Tobin, Aka Moon, Charlie Mingus and Frank Zappa, as well as the Canterbury prog rock scene. After a series of collaborations with big names in the jazz world such as Elton Dean, Harry Beckett, Annie Whitehead and Alex Maguire, the quintet returns with the album 'Stories from the Shed'.
