A British-born Bahraini, an excellent trumpeter, composer and producer who finds imaginative ways to combine jazz practice with contemporary electronic landscapes, introducing highly recognizable elements from her mixed cultural heritage to the extent that her music is sometimes described as \"psychedelic Arabic jazz\", Yazz Ahmed already occupies a prominent place in the contemporary jazz scene. With three albums to her credit so far (\"Finding My Way Home\", \"La Saboteuge\", and \"Polyhymnia\") that accurately reflect her artistic development and reflect her distinctive quality, Yazz Ahmed stands out in major festivals and jazz media ratings polls as a distinct creative musician on the contemporary jazz scene in the UK and elsewhere.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n
