A band born in southern Italy which divides its time between Italy and the Netherlands where its members carry on their music studies and activities. As far as their repertoire goes, based on the original compositions of the pianist Federica Lorusso, the band moves in the direction of the modern jazz piano trios which have been influenced by Brad Mehldau's style while making clear references to post-bop techniques and demonstrating an aesthetical approach that seeks more open and creative forms of expression. As a pianist, Federica Lorusso has exhibited an impressive level of skill. The creative interaction between the members lies at the heart of the trio, as befits a modern, swingish jazz band.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n
