Despite her young age, 25-year-old pianist and composer Aga Derlak has gained wide recognition in the Polish jazz scene. She constantly shapes her own musical identity with great maturity and awareness. She learned from the best Polish pianists: Micha\u0142 Tokaj and Pawe\u0142 Tomaszewski. She has been awarded in numerous competitions and participated in the most important Polish jazz festivals.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2012, she formed her own ensemble. All members are graduates of the famous Jazz Department of the Music Academy in Katowice. The trio performs its own compositions and arrangements, which reflect their various musical influences and experiences. In 2016, Aga Derlak Trio were honored with the most prestigious music award in Poland, the Polish Phonography Academy FRYDERYK Award for best jazz debut, for their album First Thought.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n
