The group\u2019s debut album \u201cElastic Wave\u201d was released just last year on ECM, with three other notable albums to its credit, making it stand out in the Norwegian jazz scene. This alone gives an aesthetic and artistic direction to Acoustic Unity that combines all the virtues of American post-Coltren jazz with the unique feeling of Nordic melodic improvisations. The group\u2019s members have a successful international experience, whereas the enthusiasm of all jazz media regarding their recent album suggests a wonderful future for this creative jazz trio.
