A very experienced and creative saxophonist, Maxime Bender stands out in the European jazz scene not only because of his albums, the latest of which is \u201cFall & Rise\u201d with the Universal Sky group on the Italian label CamJazz. With a wide range of contemporary and improvisational melodic \u2013 almost poetic \u2013 jazz with apparent influences and hints of soul and rock, Maxime constantly evolves his music and explores the boundaries of creativity in every circumstance. With his quartet, he opens up to an open world created by world-class artists like Wayne Shorter or Bruce Springsteen without being trapped in idiomatic restraints or labels.
