His work in these albums shows a deeper artistic \/ internationalist \/ ecological way of thinking that finds its way out in both music and the cinema screen.  His travels in both Europe and the Near or Far East have enhanced his world music perception, without, however, actually departing from the jazz principles that have been cultivated for decades in the Italian jazz scene.
