There he studied classical and electric guitar in the late eighties \u2013 and there he specialized in jazz technique. Like so many musicians of his generation, he further studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston and, since 2001, has formed the Greg Lamy Quartet \u2013 based in Belgium. The repertoire of Greg Lamy and his group consists of jazz standards and personal compositions of the guitarist - with an approach characterized by a serious knowledge and feeling of the jazz tradition, played with special feeling.
