A member of the historic jazz group Iskra and creator of the Modelo '63 group, since the early 90s Takis Barberis has charted a personal evolutionary musical path that starts with jazz rock and progresses to a creative fusion with folk and folk music. our music, introducing transnational (mainly Indian) rhythmic parameters and modern technology \u2013 always with an aesthetic measure and specifications appropriate to modern jazz style and composition. His records (\"Something from July\", \"Are You Happy?\", \"Episodes\", \"Naiva\" on Lyra, and the recent \"Porto Kayio\" on Libra Music) give Takis Barberis a very high creative mark in contemporary music scene. At the festival the group will play their compositions, mainly from \"Porto Kayio\" (but also older ones in a new version).
