The only source of knowledge of its musicians was listening to the great classics Robert Johnson, Elmore James, Howlin' Wolf, Little Walter, etc. Very soon the Latvian Blues Band started playing at local festivals, accompanying musicians from the international blues scene who were visiting the country.
