Thus New Blues for Piano was created. The tracks are not traditional blues, but could be considered modern variations on this musical form while at the same time leaving the performer room to improvise. At the European Jazz Festival of Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens, Marcel Worms performs pieces from the blues repertoire, as well as compositions from various European countries and Africa.
