Despite their young age \u2013 at the time \u2013 the two musicians had enough experience in jazz that they were considered capable of participating in the Cascais International Jazz Festival, one of the most historic festivals in Portugal and Europe. In the 80s and while living in Paris, Laurent Filipe met bassist Carlos Barreto and they worked together on several club and festival appearances. Thus, the foundations of the trio have deep roots, with the result that today their music sounds rich and full of content.
