The American magazine Jazzscene characterizes her as a modern female version of Chet Baker. Michaela and her brilliant collaborator, composer and keen guitarist Robert Pawlik captivate both the press and the public with their repertoire that includes jazz, pop and Latin tunes. They perform jazz with memorable melodies, strong harmonies, modern rhythms and daring improvisations in a harmoniously balanced combination of voice and musical instruments. Their original, atmospheric compositions, which dominate the repertoire, give them a unique, charming profile. The entire repertoire features sophisticated melodies interspersed with a dose of blues.
