If there is a jazz band in the last decade that has managed to listen to the underground forces of black American music culture and integrate them intricately into a modern jazz sound, then this can be none other than the Canadian trio miracle BadBadNotGood. From the dirty lo-fi improvisational jams with Tyler The Creator to the fresh and exciting album III that changed the face of what is fresh contemporary jazz and from the album in which they collaborated with hip-hop legend Ghostface Killah to their fantastic work as producers of legendary names such as Kendrick Lamar and Kali Uchis, BBNG has charted a unique and enviable path towards universal recognition. Their most recent album, Talk Memory, is a lifting experience flirting with classical jazz, while last year's EP, released together with the hardcore-punk band Turnstile, reinterpreting three tracks of the latter, is a testimony to their stylistic versatility and multi-faceted performing prowess.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n
