From collaborating with last year\u2019s Athens Jazz guest Mathias Eick to winning the 2023 award for Best Alternative Album of the Year in Hungary, New Fossils have gone from strength to strength, testing the boundaries of jazz along the way. The founding of their own label, Morotva Records, testifies to the band\u2019s DIY philosophy and proves that their music dives deep but aims high.
