Although very far from being pure jazz, the album was so deeply rooted in the artist\u2019s jazz influences that it reignited interest in young female jazz vocalists and jazz in general, elevating T\u00f6rnqvist to a pivotal figure in the Swedish jazz scene. From her early laid-back jazz pop to today\u2019s more mature explorations, she has established herself as one of the most influential artists and song makers in Sweden, known for her subtle but dynamic performance style.
