From May 22 to 29, the Technopolis City of Athens will be grooving again this year to the rhythms of Athens Jazz, the most prominent jazz music festival in Greece! The festival features 21 artists and ensembles on the Technopolis stage, providing a multifaceted, international lineup of performances that celebrate jazz music. And, of course, the festive climate is not limited to the stage: A rich series of side events accompany this year's Athens Jazz, inside and outside Technopolis, offering visitors a complete festival experience.<\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Just like in previous years, the abundant and always creative\u00a0Meet Market\u00a0and the\u00a0photo exhibition\u00a0of the METApolis team will be there. This year, the Vinyl Market will also be joining in, filling the air with the sweet aroma of vinyl for a whole weekend. In Technopolis, the\u00a0new stand-meeting point of the \u201cJazz Solidarity Network\u201d, ideal for jazzy talks, will accommodate visitors throughout the festival. Visitors can now walk through the facilities of the old gas factory, which provided light and energy to Athens for almost 130 years. The gas plant is a rare example of industrial heritage and is the only one in Europe still maintaining its impressive equipment intact in situ. The museum will be open from Monday to Sunday, just before live performances on the Technopolis stage.
