Makis Ablianitis Quintet

The sound of Makis Amblianitis' group combines the melodies that come from his love and involvement with our traditional music, influences from his travels and collaborations with Eastern musicians (Hariprasad Chaurasia, Omar Faruk Tekbilek, Bustan Abraham, Abdelli ), of the Balkans (Dragan Dautovski, Fuat Saka, Bulgarian Voices), of the musicians of the world (Glen Velez), but also of jazz improvisational music that he serves and teaches all these years. 

His tracks are currently on over ten compilations worldwide, while the album 'BAHAR' (went gold with sales of over 20,000 CDs) was a huge hit in Turkey and Skopje. In his live performances, 4 renowned virtuoso musicians accompany him on guitar and vocals, including Nikos Kapilidis on drums, Fotis Mylonas on keyboards, flute and bansour, Dimitris Papanikou on bass, while virtuoso Giorgos Maglaras on violin. , masterfully weaves the musical landscape.
