Since 2007, Georg Ruby, a pianist from Cologne, and Michel Pilz, a clarinetist from Luxembourg, have been working on a project they call "Instant Composings". Through their collaboration and their travels between Luxembourg, Cologne and Saarbrücken, the two musicians got to know each other very well and each appreciated the other's qualities. Both Michel Pilz and Georg Ruby belong – each in their own way – to the field of very great European musical improvisers, which is reflected and expressed in a multitude of recordings, radio productions and concerts around the world...
