Michaela Rabitsch & Robert Pawlik

Michaela Rabitsch is a singer, composer and Austria's only leading female jazz trumpeter. The American magazine Jazzscene even describes her as a "modern female Chet Baker". Michaela and her partner, composer and incredibly sharp guitarist Robert Pawlik offer a real musical treat with their repertoire, which includes jazz, pop and Latin tunes. Robert's guitar is able to create a clear musical framework within which the sense of the expressive voice and Michaela's sensitive performance on the trumpet are diffused. Especially their original, atmospheric compositions have a unique charming character. This outstanding jazz couple from Vienna sets new standards in unplugged duet performance and impresses with moving and pleasant songs. It's a duo that stands in for a whole group – and it's the Austrian answer to the duo Tuck & Patti.
