«Widbirds & Peacedrums»

The new duo Wildbirds & Peacedrums was awarded the "Jazz in Sweden" award in 2008. With an original combination, sometimes with the addition of strange instruments - such as a toy piano - singer Marian Wallentin and drummer Andreas Werliin have received positive reviews, not only in their country, but also internationally. Their CD 'The Snake' was released last March. It consists of their own signature compositions, reminiscent of pop, rock and blues, but expanded through the creative process. The result is powerful music that highlights improvisations that move in different directions, balancing the clean with the dark, the complex with the simple, and commands attention from start to finish.
