Capitalizing on a tradition cultivated for decades in (former) Czechoslovakia and which wanted the "imported" style of jazz to mix naturally and comfortably with both classical music and (mainly) the polymorphic folk / vernacular tradition of the wider region, the group Pacora Trio was created last year by three musicians who share their experiences in the fields of jazz, folk and classical music. The group has an organization (violin, harpsichord and bass) that marks this natural mix of sounds and rhythms from different sources and gives a fresh timbre to the group's music and repertoire, which consists of both classical pieces and jazz standards as well as original compositions, inspired by the folk tradition of Slovakia, Moldova, the Czech Republic, etc. At the heart of Pacora Trio's music is always swing – adapted to the national / cultural idiosyncrasy of its members...
