5th European Jazz Festival and exhibition of Ivan Kožarić in Technopolis
Despite the vagaries of the weather, the 5th European Jazz Festival in Athens took place with great success, with the participation of 17 countries - members of the European Union, organized, under its auspices, by the Technopolis City of Athens. At the same time, the exhibition of the famous Croatian artist Ivan Kožarić, entitled "Sculptures 1954-2005", organized by the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia, on the occasion of the country's future accession to the European Union, was inaugurated.
Program
The program was started by the Greek group Jazz Upstairs Big Band, with guest singer Evi Siamandas, who took part outside of participation, while the musical baton was taken by the "Bernardo Sassetti Trio" from Portugal. In the following days, Poland participated with "Virtual J@zz Reality", Denmark with "Gramski' Beat", Slovakia with "Pacora Trio", Luxembourg with "Greg Lamy Quartet", Greece with " Takis Barberis Group', Slovenia with 'Vlado Kreslin & Mati Bogovi', Sweden with 'Daniel Karlsson & Pan Pan', Netherlands with 'Eric Vloeimans & Harmen Fraanje Duo', Finland with 'Kvalda Quartet' , Lithuania with the "Labutis Jazz Quartet", Italy with the "Giovanni Palombo Acoustic Trio", the Czech Republic with the "David Dorůžka Trio", Hungary with the "Szabolcs Olah Quartet", Spain with the group "Javier Vercher ", Belgium with "Jef Neve Trio" and France with "L'Hijaz'Car".
