The Albanian Jazz Society quartet (as the initials state) is one of the best and most popular jazz bands in the neighbouring country. After a ten-year career in the genre, the band's European jazz style is interspersed with Balkan rhythms, enriched and imbued with the necessary energy required for its music to stand out both in our neighbourhood and the European stage – or the Chinese one it has visited with great success. The founders of AJS, the members of the band, in addition to their place in the music scene of Albania at the University of Arts in Tirana, are a vital band at the annual festival “Balkan Jazz ShowCase” and have already released two albums, “JalbaniaZZ” and “Kaba Project”.
