The 23rd edition of the longest running jazz festival in Greece is the largest and most ambitious it has presented so far. For the first time in its history, Athens Jazz added to its regular program an opening and closing show by two top bands of the modern, expanded jazz sound, while the rest of the concert menu offered thrills and exciting moments from crossover bands, emerging artists and established forces in the jazz field. The diverse program stemming from the whole spectrum of the contemporary jazz sound of the 23rd edition, made Athens Jazz one of the most impressive festivals of its kind in Europe.
