Alexi Tuomarila Quartet

Alexi Tuomarila's quartet was founded in 1999. After being awarded at the International Jazz Competition in Hoeilaart, Belgium, where its founder also received the award for best soloist, the group's trajectory is upward. The quartet is distinguished at the 10th European Jazz Competition in Avignon, while Alexi Tuomarila wins the 1st prize at the Monaco International Jazz Competition and is nominated for the Gjando d'Or award in the category of Best New Talent for 2001.
