Only 30 years old André Fernandes is an extremely active guitarist and composer. His original, innovative and fresh sound has been heard alongside very high level musicians in the world with whom he regularly performs and performs. He is a member of Lee Konitz New Nonet, Maria João and Laginha's band and Perico Sambeat's quartet. Fernandes has brought together some of the best Portuguese musicians for this Festival. Júlio Resende on piano and keyboards, Nelson Cascais on double bass and Marcos Cavaleiro on drums.
