Aved-Fenyvesi Quartet

The band of Janos Aved and Marton Fenyvesi was formed only in 2008. Its members, however, have been involved in various formations for many years and all studied at the famous "Ferenc Lisz" Music Academy. The rhythm part of the group is covered by bassist Erno Hock and drummer Akos Benko. All members work permanently or occasionally in the best orchestras and groups, accompanying the greatest artists of the Hungarian jazz scene such as: Modern Art Orchestra, Szoke Nikoletta Ensemble, Balazs Elemer Sextet, Szabo Daniel Trio, Szandai Matyas Quintet, Gado Gabor Quartet, Szaloki Agi Lament, Dresch Quartet, Agoston Bela Quartet, Grencso Kollektiva etc. and play in the most important clubs and festivals in their country and abroad (Croatia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Italy, Germany, Belgium, France, etc.). Janos Aved, as a member of the Transform Quintet, played with Joey Calderazzo in a series of concerts in 2007 and 2008. In addition to conventional jazz pieces, the group's repertoire includes original compositions and arrangements of various contemporary musical styles
