Although this singer from Prague artistically expresses herself mainly in her native language, the international audience has no problem enjoying her performance as the sensitivity and lyricism of music know no boundaries. Bára Zmeková draws from folk, jazz and classical music sources, constantly flirting with electronica, gaining thus a place in the European jazz scene and not only. Her 2019 album "Lunaves", her second personal one, showcased a talent that balances between a fragile and almost poetic expressiveness and resourceful theatrical humour mainly displayed on stage. Bára Zmeková performs either solo or with her band.
