Pianist Bernardo Sassetti is undoubtedly one of the most important jazzmen in Portugal today. Since the 80s he has left a strong personal artistic stamp on the jazz scene of his country, as he is one of the musicians who has a strong and permanent relationship - creative and professional - with this musical genre. The same applies to his trio, which is one of Portugal's longest-running and most stable groups. The three musicians have been playing together for over 14 years – that is, before they decided to form this trio. His music stands out for the quality of the compositions and for the freshness of the improvisation it contains – always leaving room for the surprise of the moment.
