David Dorůžka Trio

Daniel Doruzka is one of the most gifted Czech guitarists of the new generation – with his talent recognized internationally. His presence began to be felt since, at the age of 14, he started doing his first jams in the jazz clubs of Prague. He was then awarded by the Czech Jazz Association and, at 19, left for Boston to study at Berklee College of Music – and his two-year stay in America resulted in collaborations with musicians such as Pat Metheny . In the summer of 2003 he recorded in New York his first personal album, entitled "Hidden Paths", which received excellent reviews. Since then, he has been touring Europe with his trio – consisting of J. Honzak and L. Zyta – making many collaborations with musicians from Poland, Sweden, etc. David Doruzka is a genuine modern European jazzman.
