«Falb Fiction»

“Waiting for… Falb Fiction” is the title of the recent debut album by Falb Fiction, a group of young musicians from Austria, led by saxophonist and composer Viola Falb. 

The group's music is modern jazz, with original compositions that have "excellent architecture", as noted by legendary modern jazz pianist Keith Tippett. The music, written by Viola Falb, is nothing but images, experiences and memories transformed into contemporary sound, with parts that alternate between composition and improvisation, giving the opportunity to all the members of the group to play as a team but also to give their personal the character in the music. Aesthetically, Falb Fiction's music moves in the new jazz tradition combined with groovy nu directions, nice melodies and special harmonies and rhythms. On stage, the interaction of the musicians is excellent who, despite their young age, have a lot of live experience in several festivals and jazz clubs in Europe.
