«František Kop Quartet»

They were created for the needs of the festival "Prague Spring 1995" and remain united and creative twelve years later, thanks to the drive and cooperation of the two leaders of the scheme, František Kop and Petr Malásek, who sign most of the compositions. Their music is an amalgam of different influences, passing from blues and funk to the rhythm of Latin and world music, always through the prism of free improvisation, which continues even now to rank Prague among the jazz capitals of Europe.
