Fredrik Nordstrom Special Quartet (Sweden)

Saxophonist, composer and band leader Fredrik Nordström, born in 1974, is one of the most interesting names of the new generation of jazz musicians in Sweden. In 2002 he distinguished himself in the institution "Jazz in Sweden" which resulted in the recording of the album "On purpose" together with elite musicians and with his own original compositions, as well as a tour in his country and neighboring Finland. Fredrik has invited to play with him in Greece the pianist Bobo Stenson, who since the end of the 1960s essentially defined the concept of modern piano in Sweden, his internationally known compatriot bassist Palle Danielsson and the excellent drummer Fredrik Rundqvist.
