George Kontrafouris Trio

Giorgos Kontrafouris studied classical piano at the National Conservatory. At the age of 16 he turned to jazz which inspires him and gives him continuous success. Founding member of the band “Page One” and active member of “Exit” and “Houston Pearson Quartet”, he has collaborated and participated in many recordings with leading international musicians, while he has recorded several personal CDs and was the arranger and production manager of the CD by Sofia Noiti, "Holy Time" (2000). He works as a piano teacher at the Ateneum Conservatory and the Ionian University of Corfu.
