The band consists of 9 musicians / soloists, masters of their instruments - all of whom have an excellent presence on the Greek jazz scene. Takis Paterelis (conductor, tenor and soprano saxophone), Manos Theodosakis (trumpet, flugelhorn), Yiannis Papanastasiou (alto saxophone), Dimitris Karagiannis (tenor saxophone), Antonis Andreou (trombone), Yotis Samaras (guitar), Dimitris Sevdalis (piano) ), Konstantinos Zouganelis (double bass) and Seraphim Bellos (drums), "united" in October 2004 and "housed" permanently in the new jazz club of Athens "Jazz Upstairs". The orchestra's repertoire consists of original compositions and arrangements / orchestrations of classic themes of modern jazz by composers such as Wayne Shorter, Charles Mingus and others. Evi Siamanda is one of the most impressive young jazz singers in our country. With great talent and special expressiveness in a wide interpretive range, he already has a presence that stands out.
