Jazzbois are not for the narrow-minded purists. They play for the new jazzheads who are not intimidated by the war cries hidden in Herbie Hancock’s powerful grooves and love to imagine Thundercat jamming with J Dilla in a musical space where fusion can co-exist with laid-back, lofi versions of songs like “Windmills of Your Mind”. This jazzy hip-hop fusion trio from Budapest have already performed multiple sold out shows at some of the most important venues on the continent, from 100 club and Jazz Café in London to the Montreux Festival. Having just released their latest album, Montreal, they are arriving in Athens at the peak of their career after the success of their 2024 album Still Blunted. At this pace, Jazzbois will soon earn a place in our hearts next to the likes of Domi and JD Beck and Nala Sinephro.
