JONATHAN COLLIN-BOUHON

The young Belgian bassist has already recorded his first personal album, “Leman”, while he already has an exciting background of collaborations with musicians like Jorge Rossy while continuing his studies at the Basel Conservatory in Switzerland, with mentoring teachers like Larry Grenadier. Although he is into jazz, as a composer, he is not limited to the genre alone. His album contains his own compositions full of freshness, performed by a group of musicians with which the young bassist and composer has developed strong ties. The melody and the dreamy timbre dominate the music of this first album of Jonathan Collin-Bouhon, who, in addition to his own music, also arranges standards such as “The Windmills of Your Mind” by Michel Legrand.
