Júlia Karosi

At the forefront of this quartet is Júlia Karosi, who, over the last 15 years, has emerged as one of the top jazz performers in her country. Beyond her undisputed qualities and technical skills as a singer, perhaps the group's most exciting element is how it brings Hungarian music tradition to the present day by incorporating it into a classical jazz environment. In its discography, we find both new original compositions and "reimaginations" of folk songs from their country coming from great local composers. This is also expected in the group's upcoming project that skillfully balances its local past and the international present.
