Singer Katarína Koščová's career began in 2005, when she won her country's first Super Idol. But her approach to music is different from what one would expect from the winner of such a TV competition / show.
Its goal is always quality music and the elements that characterize it have to do with jazz, folk, chanson etc. Katarina writes her lyrics in Slovak and always draws from the folk traditions of her homeland. With her is the Illusions Trio, a group that plays on the border of jazz, rock and funk. It was created in 2008 by Andrej Karlik guitar and Michal Fedor drums, two young musicians who have already distinguished themselves on the Slovak scene.
