As is the case with the majority of Italian musicians (jazz or not), Marco di Gennaro and Luca Velotti have a special artistic activity to show. The former has composed music for many musical theater productions, such as 'Shakespeare in Jazz' and the most recent 'Midsummer Night Dream', starring Giorgio Albertazzi. He has played and recorded with great names of the world music scene, such as: Lee Konitz, Peter Bernstein, Doug Weiss, Bill Saxton, Dwayne Burno, Paolo Fresu, Enrico Rava and J.D. Allen. The latter participated in the ensembles of Paolo Conte until 1992 and Nicola Piovani until 2000. He has collaborated with great musicians such as: Kenny Davern, Al Casey, Toots Thielmans, George Masso, Bob Wilder, Dan Barrett, Ken Peplowsky, Dick Sudhalter, Bill Crow, Bill Smith and Tony Scott. Among the most important appearances of the duo is the show "Bukowski - Confessions of a Genius", directed by Giorgio Gallione, starring Alessandro Haber. They have also recorded music, composed by Marco di Gennaro, for the project “Mr. Peter's Connections" by Arthur Miller, starring Giorgio Albertazzi and Erica Blanc.
