Few musicians can boast of having worked with musicians as influential yet diverse as Wayne Shorter, Gilberto Gilles, Ralph Towner, Django Bates, Trilok Gurtu, Dino Salucci and Maria Joao. Mário Laginha is one of them. But above all, he is a dedicated pianist and composer, who manages to find in every shape, space to breathe and create. As for his own trio, it allows him to continue experimenting and taking risks, remaining open to every genre and combining the elements he has collected in his (rich) musical career so far.
