Minas Alexiadis Quartet (Greece)

Minas Alexiadis holds a diploma in composition from the R. Schumann Academy of Music in Dusseldorf, a graduate of Athens Law School and a PhD in Musicology from the University of Athens. In addition to his activity as a jazz composer, he has performed and collaborated with Chick Corea, M. Stockhausen, A. Andersen, T. Lakatos, Chr. Lauer, K. Betts, H. Sokal Trio, G. Hampel, S. Fenwick et al. Professional Music and Jazz Performance graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Kostas Baltazanis, has played in Greece with the most famous jazz musicians in various countries with Berklee professors in concerts-seminars etc. He is also a co-founder of the band IASIS with which has recorded and performed at many international festivals. Manos Loutas is a Jazz Bass Performance graduate of the New School University in New York. He studied with R. Beirach, L. Grenadier, Phil Markowitz, M. Longo et al. In his numerous appearances in New York he has appeared and collaborated with B. Magnuson, B. Brain, S. Thornton, A. Lawrence, D. Pullman, W. Dyson, Matt Garrison and others. Spyros Panagiotopoulos, founding member of the band Page One, with whom he participated in four records and collaborated with the singers Jean Parker, Carla Cook, Deborah Davis, Modinha, etc., as well as with leading European musicians such as A. Andersen, M. Stockhausen, A. Sheppard, B. Hofseth et al.
