The group Off Course was created in 1989, with a repertoire of jazz standards initially and with a direction towards new age later. Having a strong classical education, the members of the group evolved their music, refining it in the direction of modern acoustic European jazz in the style of ECM. They started recording their albums from 1999 on the Hungarian label BMC, with their first, "Street of Secrets", receiving excellent reviews and the next, "Tales from the Lighthouse", made in collaboration with the famous trumpeter Erik Truffaz . The members of the group are experienced and versatile musicians, with a number of international collaborations to their credit.
