Phronesis

With a name derived from the Greek word "Phronisis", this European trio has such a position that it has already made it stand out. In fact, it is characteristic that Jon Newey of Jazzwise magazine has written about them that they are the most important and creative piano trio that has been presented since the legendary e.s.t. Led by Danish bassist Jasper Hoiby and featuring British pianist Ivo Neame and Swedish drummer Anton Eger, this trio has already won several awards and its third album, entitled “Alive”, was record of the year (2010) both for Mojo as well as for Jazzwise With distinctive basso grooves, lyrical melodies and dramatic performances, the group "Phronesis" is something special.
