Pichler Bros

An interesting and open - musically and artistically - duo with a repertoire that covers jazz, folk, pop and other music. Brothers Andreas and Matthias are twins and were born in 1981 in Tyrol. 

When they were young they played drums and trumpet respectively but when they grew up they decided they should form a rock band so Matthias turned it into bass! They studied music first in Linz, then in Amsterdam and finally in Berlin and since then they have collaborated with many well-known European jazz and non-jazz musicians. In recent years the two twin brothers have focused on their own project where, based on improvisation, they "travel" through jazz, pop, folk, world, classical music, etc. always finding their own musical language...
