The 22nd Athens Jazz has come to an end, giving us plenty of excitement and unforgettable experiences along the way!

For 7 days, Technopolis was filled with music, rhythm, energy and a crowd of over 50.000, who enjoyed 21 artists and bands on stage, on our most subversive lineup yet –and we really do mean subversive: On our main stage we saw unexpected performances and heard everything from classic jazz saxophone and dexterously melodic piano, to beat boxing and improvisations with….the Baglama instrument.

The audience participation and interaction with the artists was yet again impressive. More energetic than ever, our visitors packed the venue from the early hours of the day, giving a massive presence on the various events that were happening along the festival, laying the foundations that led to the incredibly energetic and full of pulse atmosphere during the live performances.

In the end of the day, Athens IS jazz, and the city’s most beloved festival promises to carry on proudly, bringing fresh, unexpected ideas on stage that will captivate our audience.
