His name, as a singer, pianist, composer, etc., is directly linked to Italy's participation in the Eurovision Song Contest (in 2011 with the “Follia d'amore” of the San Remo festival renamed “Madness of Love” finishing second to Azerbaijan). His music world is made up of jazz and blues, both in their traditional and most modern forms, while he is unconditionally inspired by the tradition of Italian pop songs. Since his debut in 2005 with “Love Outside the Window” to this day, with successful albums such as “Love Life Peace” and “Ho un piano” or “Bar del sole”, Raphael Gualazzi promotes an entirely personal style of crooner/pianist qualifying him as an outstanding performer in contemporary Italian pop with international standards.
